講師：リチャード・M・ジャフィ（Richard・M・Jaffe）氏
略歴：１９５４年生まれ。イェール大学にて博士号を取得後、ノースカロライナ州立大学で哲学と宗教を講じる。鈴木大拙をはじめとする近代日本の仏教思想家の歩みを該博な知識と綿密な調査により複眼的な視点から考察し、鈴木大拙らの仏教思想を研究している。
